Unit 17, Mole Business Park
Unit 17 is home to a multi-purpose commercial unit within Mole Business Park in Leatherhead, close to residential properties and an NHS facility. Measuring in at around 50,000 sq. ft, it required careful coordination to minimise disruption.
What They Asked For
The building needed a complete external and internal commercial building refurbishment. The goal was to modernise its appearance and provide long-term protection for the property. Specifically, work was required for the roof, gutters, and external coatings. Inside, redecoration was needed to improve the viability and overall aesthetic of the internal space.
What We Did
We did what we did best, tackling a range of services for the client, including:
- Full waterproof liquid coating system applied to the roof and guttering
- Complete external decoration package
- Complete commercial interior painting throughout the unit
- Full commercial pressure washing service (including commercial jet wash) for all external areas to restore their appearance
Our team worked to deliver the scope exactly and upgraded the performance and finish both inside and outside the unit. Roof and gutter works utilised liquid roof coating as part of a targeted commercial waterproofing service, which extended service life for years to come.
Commercial painting services were also carried out to ensure a durable and consistent finish for a busy business environment. This guaranteed that the unit could be used for its purposes as a modernised workspace, with the presentation of the space improved substantially for the tenants.
A full commercial jet wash service was also applied to improve kerb appeal and prepare substrates for decoration.
How We Did It
With a dedicated, four-man team, the project was completed over six months. Since the unit was close to live residential properties and an NHS facility, we implemented strict noise suppression measures and adhered to agreed sound constraints throughout the entirety of the project.
All works were planned to reduce disruption to surrounding residents and business park occupants, with access and working hours coordinated to meet site rules.
The Result
The unit was fully refurbished inside and out with upgraded weathering performance to the roof and gutters, and a clean, modern update to the external and internal spaces. The roof life was also extended substantially, and kerb appeal was boosted significantly, both of which go a long way to provide benefits for ongoing use and future tenants.
As a result, the client provided excellent feedback, supported by a promotional video showcasing the results.
This outcome strengthened the relationship and contributed to ongoing national works with the client.
